I have a beautiful couple to share with you today! Tesia contacted me over the summer looking for engagement photos and I was thrilled to be able to photograph them! She and Joseph are originally from Georgia, but will be living in St. Louis after they get married next year, so they wanted there engagement photos to represent their new life ahead.
We started at the always lovely World’s Fair Pavilion, and even though the weather was a bit gloomy and super windy, we were still able to capture some beautiful photos together!
When we were discussing locations, they had one request – they wanted to take photos at the Arch. After driving around through construction traffic, paying $20 to park, and making the trek to the Arch Grounds, we were swiftly escorted out by park rangers because it’s apparently illegal to take professional photos at a national monument without a permit. News to us and all of our photographer friends!! Although we were bummed, we were able to find a back-up plan at City Gardens with the arch and courthouse in the background. It was dark by then, but we still grabbed a few lovely shots and now have a great story to accompany them! 🙂
Joseph + Tesia, thank you so much for such a fun evening of engagement photo adventures! I’m sure your wedding day will be as beautiful as you are!!
