Main Street St. Charles Family Session | The Bergstroms

Nathaniel, Blythe, and sweet McKay are dear friends of ours. Of course, we love photographing all of our clients, but there’s something even more special when it’s sweet friends like these. Especially when they’re as adorable as the Bergstroms. Nathaniel and I met in college through the group that we traveled and sang in together. He quickly became one of my closest friends, my kindred voice spirit, and an extraordinary dance partner in The Dancing…{our ridiculous, goofy dance trio from our college days. Oh yeah, Nathaniel – I just went there.}. 😉 We were thrilled when he and Blythe met and got married and even more excited for them wen they welcomed McKay into their world. Even though life and jobs and parenthood has limited the amount of time we all spend together these days, there’s always something that feels like home when we’re with them. So when we had the opportunity to document their incredible family, we jumped at the opportunity!

We met on Main Street in St. Charles on a cloudy April day, and had a blast taking photos, people watching, and laughing our heads off after creepy old men tried to invade our photo session. This sweet girl hates grass, but loved this rocking chair! Plus, it was an easy way to keep her contained while we took a few photos of mom + dad on their own. 😉
