Spring Wedding at Memorial Presbyterian + Windows on Washington | Mark + Elisabeth

We kicked off our 2018 wedding season on Sunday with Mark + Elisabeth and it was pretty much the best way to start the year! The day was overflowing with JOY upon JOY! From the moment we arrived, there was an overwhelming sense of excitement that filled every room we entered. It was clear that these two were ecstatic about the covenant they were about to make and they had surrounded themselves with some pretty incredible people to celebrate alongside them!

Their ceremony was held at their home church, Memorial Presbyterian, and was filled with sweet, emotion-filled vows that may or may not have quoted Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. And even though they did a first look before the ceremony, Mark’s reaction to seeing his bride walk down the aisle to him was one of the highlights of the day. Some of our other favorites included Elisabeth’s incredibly beautiful long-sleeve lace dress, Mark’s super dapper groom’s attire (I mean, who doesn’t love polka dots?!), their hilarious and high energy bridal party, and the non-stop, epic dance party that ensued at their reception. It’s obvious Mark hates the camera. 😉

Above all else, what stands out is Mark + Elisabeth’s deep affection for Jesus. Not a moment passed that there wasn’t a sincere nod to the God who had brought them together and who they were committing their marriage to on this day. What an honor it is to get to share in these moments and document day one of the rest of their lives together! We know these two are world-changers and we can’t wait to see where the Lord takes them next!
