It’s been raining for…well, ever, it seems, and what better thing to do while we mourn the apparent loss of the sun than reminisce on the 2017 weddings that I haven’t blogged yet! Today’s blog post is also brought to you by rainy St. Louis days and the beautiful people who made the most of it, despite the gray November weather! Matt + Danielle said ” I Do” at the Randall Art Gallery, a quirky space in downtown St. Louis, filled to the brim with all of their closest friends and family. It was a cold and sleeting most of the day which forced us indoors for all of their formal photos. Never once did these two complain or get stressed about the changes though! They just kept on smiling right through it all and we love that about them!
Some highlights from the day included Danielle’s stunning blush pink dress, the emotional speeches given at the reception, and the sweet nods to Danielle’s mama who passed away when she was younger. There was a sense of honoring her past while simultaneously looking joyfully ahead to the future, and really, isn’t that what a wedding day is all about? We loved being able to be a part of it and wish Matt + Danielle many, many blessings on their life together!!
