Fall Military Wedding at The Caramel Room | Andrew + Lexi

I met Lexi in a coffee shop in Midtown. She lit up the room from the moment she walked in, but the second she started talking about Andrew, she simply beamed. “He’s deployed in Afghanistan right now, but I so wish you could meet him! He’s just the best person in the whole world!” Y’all, this girl was over the moon for her guy. And for good reason. Andrew, an Army Ranger, is kind and genuine. He looks at her the same way she spoke to me about him – beaming with love and joy over his beautiful wife. Lexi + Andrew grew up together and when she was younger, Lexi wrote an essay about her “dream valentine,” stating that if she could, she would give a Valentine to anyone in the world, it would be Andrew Biermann. All these years later, these two have exchanged more than just a school valentine’s card, they’ve committed their whole hearts and lives to one another for all of their days. Their love story is literally a dream come true and it was such a joy to be able to play a small part in documenting it for them.

While Andrew was stationed in Alaska this past year, Lexi joined him and they eloped! To celebrate, they held a gorgeous rooftop vow renewal and beautiful reception at The Caramel Room. Their friends and family laughed and cried and spent the perfect September day surrounding these two with all the love that has made them who they are.
