Springfield, MO Wedding at Drury Stone Chapel and The Old Glass Place | Nick + Sarah

I first met Sarah in an overcrowded, noisy local coffee shop. We laughed with each other as we nearly had to yell to break through the chatter, but quickly, what started as an ordinary consult turned into a lengthy conversation about life, church, ministry, mutual friends, and old stomping grounds. It was as if we’d been friends for a long time and were just casually catching up. Referred to me by a friend from high school high school, Sarah and I swapped stories of memories from our hometown, Springfield, and the paths that led us both to St. Louis. As she shared about her fiancè, Nick – of his quiet, but steady presence, his heart for justice, his love for her – I knew they were a special couple. Together, they are the perfect complement of personalities, like puzzle pieces that find their home in the fitting together. Sarah’s bright, bubbly demeanor matches Nick’s calm, but witty charm. And above all else, their love for Jesus binds them together as one. What a gift it is when we get to witness the joining of two hearts, bound by love for each other and a Savior, ever committing to grow and serve alongside one another for the Kingdom.

Their lovely fall day day was filled with joy and anticipation at what was to come. Drury Stone Chapel made the perfect backdrop for their sweet ceremony and The Old Glass Place was as lovely as ever for the celebration that followed. The room aglow with candlelight and a bistro light backdrop, this crew laughed and danced the night away before departing through a sparkler-lined patio to a gorgeous vintage car, courtesy of dear family friends. Such a fun day from start to finish.
