With the launch of our brand new website yesterday (hip hip hooray!!), I thought it might be high time to introduce you to the gorgeous couple who appears on our front page! Andrew + Sam are just the best and their October brunch wedding at 9th Street Abbey is one of our faves from 2017! The ladies started their day bright and early at City Center hotel while the gentleman prepped in Soulard. It was a beautiful October morning and these two, along with their whole crew, radiated joy and excitement all day long, even after it got drizzly and gray a few hours later! Sam’s lace dress from Mia Grace Bridal was so perfectly suited to her as were her amazing + super sparkly Keds! The ladies wore a mix of blush and burgandy, a chic backdrop to their soft pink florals from Walter Knoll Florist. The fellas sported Navy suits and dapper bowties from The Tie Bar!

Over the past year, Sam + Andrew quickly became a favorite around here, mostly for their sweet and sincere disposition and their ability to laugh and have fun! We adore couples who don’t take themselves too seriously and who prioritize their moments with each other and with their guests on their wedding day. Andrew + Sam had such a fun day and I’m positive there wasn’t a person present who didn’t have a blast as well! Their ceremony was so personalized to who they are as a couple (and may have involved a few tears and lots of laughs), their wedding party was fabulous and full of energy, the brunch menu at the Abbey was delightful (especially for this pregnant lady over here!), they had  Ted Drewe’s bar instead of cake, and their reception was happenin’, thanks to Arvell & Co.! There may or may not be proof of the bride + groom doing the limbo below! 😉

Andrew + Sam, thank you so much for inviting us into your beautiful brunch celebration! It was perfect from start to finish and we’re still swooning over it months later! Here’s to many years of an incredible marriage filled with just as much beauty and fun as your wedding day!
