When we think about the kind of clients we want to surround ourselves with, Mike + Mari instantly come to mind. They are some of the sweetest, most genuine people on the face of this earth, they truly care for others, are incredibly fun to be around, and are so clearly a perfect match! Their wedding day plans got completely uprooted by rainy weather, but these two didn’t miss a beat, still smiling from ear to ear, just thrilled to be with one another and all of their family and friends. Mike + Mari opted to not have a bridal party which meant we had plenty of time to capture some adorable couple’s portraits of them, despite the rain. In fact, their umbrella-wielding first look may be one of my favorite first looks ever. So, so sweet.
Their ceremony + reception were held at the ever quirky Mad Art Gallery, and even though they couldn’t have their ceremony out on the patio as planned, they were still able to incorporate some personal touches, like Teddy, their pup, as their ring bearer! Also, the pastor who married them was the same pastor who married Mari’s parents! The highlight of the reception was the Hot Mini Donut station, thanks to The Dapper Doughnut, where guests could order their own set of six mini donuts in a variety of flavors. Trust me, this pregnant wedding photographer was all about that life! They were amazing!
