Filipino Wedding at Top of the Met St. Louis | Christopher + Dawn

If you’ve been following us for any length of time, you’ve probably heard us say that we have the best clients. The thing is, that’s 100% true. We don’t say things just to say them. We’re very intentional with what we say to and about people, and we’re even more intentional about investing in the lives of those who trust us with their wedding day. So believe me wholeheartedly when I say that Chris + Dawn are truly the best of the best. They are genuine and kind and, have a great sense of humor (and style!), and are just plain fun to be around! We’ve been looking forward to their wedding ever since they slayed their engagement session last fall, and y’all, it was every bit as lovely as we’d hoped it’d be.

We started the day in a gorgeous suite with killer city views at the Hilton at the Ballpark. Some of my favorite prep photos of all time are in this blog. These two are just classically beautiful, inside and out, and it permeated every part of their day. We loved that Chris + each of the groomsmen had their own matching set of superhero socks and cufflinks. Chris even took it one step further with getting “I’m Batman” embroidered into his custom-made jacket. And can we talk about how gorgeous Dawn is in her incredible dress and how incredibly handsome Chris is in that black suit and bowtie?!

Their ceremony at St. Monica Catholic Church was filled with emotion as Dawn walked down the aisle to her groom. Filipino traditions and their sweet family surrounded them as they pledged their life + love to each other from now on. After the ceremony, we traveled to Forest Park for some bridal party photos. Look closely and you may see their sweet pup, Ellie, pop up in a few! We finished the night with an incredible celebration at The Top of the Met. Panoramic sunset views of the St. Louis skyline were just the beginning of an epic evening filled with delicious food (that garlic cheese bread though!), a gorgeous cake, fabulous toasts given for the bride + groom, a rockin’ dance floor, and some beautiful night photos in the middle of Broadway.

Chris + Dawn, thank you for inviting us into day one of your marriage. May the years ahead be filled with lots of dance parties, endless puppy snuggles, and many, many blessings! Can’t wait to show you the rest of your images soon and we’re equally as excited to finish your feature film!
