When Jacob + Rachael first met in high school (they were in a guitar ensemble together!), they never would have dreamed they’d wind up together! And yet, here they are, an incredible and incredibly adorable duo! Their Lafayette Park engagement session was a blast! I love how laid back, relatable, and hilarious they are. I’m not sure how it even started, but somehow the Space Jam theme song became our motivational music for the evening and it’s now become a running joke among the four of us! Most of the laughing photos you see are due to someone belting the jam. And let me just say, I love that I have such fab clients who share inside jokes with us! I have such an amazing job!

One of my favorite things about being a St. Louis photographer is all of the incredible parks we have available to us for photo sessions. Lafayette Park is a stunner and this little secret garden area is becoming a go-to spot for our couples! Jacob + Rachael ordered a 20×30 mounted print of this for their home and we loved it so much, we were kind of wishing we could hang it in our own home!

Jacob + Rachael, you guys are an amazing couple and we are PUMPED for your wedding next month! We fully expect Space Jam to play at the reception! We’re practicing our dance moves!
