Succulent Filled Spring Wedding at Stone House of St. Charles | Kyle + Ashley

FILED IN: Uncategorized

Ten years ago, I sat across a tiny fast food table and introduced myself to a sweet blonde girl, Kelly, who would go on to become an incredible friend, a sister even, to Smitty and me. Kelly has been such a major part of our life for the past decade – from best friend to our dedicated second photographer – our lives (and weekends) and always intertwined! But if you had told me then that all these years later we would be photographing her baby brother’s wedding together, I think we both would’ve laughed at you and thought you were crazy! Nevertheless, the day came and went and I can say 100 times over that we were more than grateful and honored to be a part of it!

Through family get togethers, Easter brunches, and 4th of July celebrations, Smitty and I have been privileged to watch Kyle grow up, graduate high school, college, and grad school, meet the girl of his dreams, and ultimately, commit to spend the rest of his life with her. He and Ashley love each other deeply and it has been so incredible to watch their journey unfold. Many years of learning and growing together has molded them into the beautiful couple they are today. Surrounded by all the ones they loves most, these two tearfully promised to choose one another for the rest of their days, a covenant they take seriously and thank God for daily.

Their gorgeous Spring day at Stone House of St. Charles was brimming with greenery and succulents, the loveliest of handcrafted details, a darling bow-tie wielding pup, and of course, the family favorite, Old Town Donuts. Shout-out to everyone who came around this couple to make their vision a reality! The day was amazing, but at the end of it, we all know that it pales in comparison to the journey ahead!

Kyle + Ashley (and your families), thank you so much for inviting us into your day! We have been honored to watch you two grow together and can’t wait to see what lies ahead! Praying many blessings over you both! May you always look back on these images and be reminded that the love of your youth is just the tip of the iceberg for your future!
