There’s a rumor going around that January is less than ideal for portraits in St. Louis. While this may be true here and there, this sweet couple’s session is far from it! In fact, we were given a gorgeous day for Nick + Emily’s engagement session at the Missouri History Museum. The Missouri History Museum is an incredible space in and of itself, but it was particularly significant in these images because it’s where Nick + Emily met. When thinking about locations, I always encourage my clients to consider places that hold meaning for them. I love that they chose this spot, as they were able to reminisce over old memories and be reminded of all of the moments that lie ahead.
Nick currently lives in Wisconsin while Emily is finishing up her degree here in St. Louis. There’s something so sweet about being able to capture couples in long-distance relationships. They know that their time apart makes their time together that much more valuable and it shows. Just a few more months before they’re long-distance no more!
Nick + Emily, I can’t wait for your wedding this summer! Thanks for spending a Saturday with me!
