We met at the Jewel Box that morning. It was bitter and blustery outside, only 12 degrees, but the Jewel Box seemed like the perfect place for an engagement session in the middle of January! Imagine our disappointment when we arrived to find it unexpectedly closed for the day. After already rescheduling once and making the decision to move the session indoors (because it’s freezing in St. Louis right now), we were determined to make the session happen that day! So, we came up with a plan C…the Missouri History Museum! Sometimes, unexpected changes work out even better than what you could have planned on your own. Danielle is actually a high school history teacher, so taking their photos at the museum honestly seemed like it was made for them!
Rob, Danielle, and sweet 4-year-old Brooklyn were amazing to photograph. They’re weren’t stressed by the change of plans, but took everything in stride, and we had so much fun wandering around, catching little glimpses into their story. They’re each so genuine and it’s obvious that they love each other dearly. I can hardly wait for their wedding this June (it’s a brunch wedding – our favorite!), but in the meantime, let their darling e-session bring a smile to your face today!
